Wanted: Internal Audit Interns at Stellenbosch Municipality

The Stellenbosch Municipality is looking for 2 graduates for a two-year Internal Audit Internship programme. The programme is aimed to equip graduates with internal audit and financial management skills and experience in Local Government. Successful candidates wiill earn a monthly salary of R9 000 (all inclusive package). The deadline for applications is 14 May 2015.

Requirements

  • B.Com degree or three-year qualification in Internal Auditing
  • Experience in areas of risk based planning, execution and reporting of audits and proficiency with the Standards for Professional Practice of Internal Auditing will be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer and systems literacy (specifically MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
