Apprenticeship Programme (Technical and Engineering) at SA Express Airways

SA Express is calling on students who are looking to kick-start their careers, working for one of the fastest growing Regional Airlines in Africa. Established on 24 April 1994, SA Express plays a significant role in the country’s hospitality, travel and tourism industry and is a vital contributor to the country’s socio-economic development.

We are keen to give learners exposure in our work environment in the form of an Apprenticeship programme. Learners will be given an opportunity to enter into an Apprenticeship program where they will learn more about the maintenance of aircrafts according to regulations. They will undergo prescribed Basic Training at an accredited training facility and prescribed Practical Training at SA Express Technical division. Learners will be expected to attend Theoretical training at a technical college, pass the Final examination as set out by the Department of Transport as well to complete and pass Trade Test at an accredited centre.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or N3 with Maths and Science
  • Math and Science (D- Higher grade and C- Lower grade).
