The Paarl Media apprenticeship programme offers successful applicants an opportunity to earn an income whilst working towards an internationally certified trade qualification. It consists of six months theoretical training at the Paarl Media Academy, with experienced facilitators, coaches and mentors from within the Group. Thereafter, they will work for over two years at one of Paarl Media’s plants across the country, where the core and experiential component of the training is completed prior to undergoing the trade test.

In 2011, the Paarl Media Academy launched its newly developed training curriculum for the apprenticeship programme. The training curriculum follows a holistic approach, and covers all the aspects of the apprenticeship as required by the FP&M SETA and exceeds those expectations through the inclusion of fundamental and elective subjects such as Mathematics and environmental studies.
