Salary:R 331548 – R 430380 per annum (plus benefits)

Minimum Requirements:

  • * National Diploma in Property Valuation / NQF level 5 equivalent
  • * Registration as a Professional Valuer with the SA Council for Property Valuers
  • * Excellent financial and administrative management skills
  • * Driver’s licence
  • * Relevant Experience preferable at managerial level

Core Responsibilities:

  • * Undertake strategic planning, organizing, communication, control, training, and development of staff to comply with relevant legislation
  • * Manage the valuation function, the professional and technical function of the Council
  • * Responsible for administration, communication and discipline between the valuation division and Council
  • * Manage the process of compiling the General Valuation Roll and Supplementary Valuation Rolls
  • * Represent the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality before the Valuation Appeal Board

  • The successful candidate who does not have the NQF Level 5 financial management qualification will be required to obtain it by 1 January 2013, in terms of the National Treasury requirement.
