What we offer:
- Two Learnerships: 1 year Learnership towards a National Certificate in Pulp and Paper Technology (NQF5) and a further 2 year Learnership towards a National Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology (NQF6)
- Durban based students study full-time through DIT (Durban Institute of Technology)
- Richards Bay students study distance learning though UNISA (University of South Africa) with tutoring in various modules (Pulp & Paper, Maths, Science) and practical off-the-job assessments
- Students on both Learnerships at both locations are also provided with practical on-the-job-training as well as mentoring and counselling
- Learnership allowances are paid to all students
What we require
- Must be a South African citizen
- Minimum of Grade 12 with Maths, Science and English on HG, with excellent results
- Further N-studies towards Chemical Process Control will be an added advantage
- Prospective candidates will be required to attend psychometric assessments as part of the selection process
Completed application forms must be submitted between 1st - 31st January each year. The following application documents are necessary:
- Motivational letter (including your preference for Durban or Richards Bay)
- Comprehensive Curriculum Vitae
- Certified copy of academic record
- Certified copy of Identification Document
