Learnerships for artisans will be advertised on the City’s website every year in June or July.
We offer:
- In-service training at a quality centre in the following trades, among others: welding, plumbing, water reticulation, vehicle mechanics, boiler making, fitting and turning, electrical work
- Possible placement on completion of your training.
- A learner allowance of R1000,00 per month.
What you need:
- At least an N2 Certificate or Technical High School qualification with Maths, Science and the relevant trade theory as subjects
- An interest in becoming an artisan with the necessary devotion and enthusiasm
Preference will be given to applicants who have an N3 qualification and practical experience.
