Cleaner at e-TV: Admin Department (Cape Town)

Reporting to the Administration Manager your key performance areas will include:

  • * Clean office building, including toilets, kitchens and general areas
  • * Provide a professional, efficient and effective cleaning service that enhances the appearance of the facility and supports a healthy environment
  • * Empty office dustbins daily and dispose of all refuse appropriately in the refuse bins for collection
  • * Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the appropriate person
  • * Clean windows on the inside at least quarterly on a rotational basis (External window surfaces will be cleaned by an external service provider.)

Requirements:

  • * Previous experience as a cleaner will be an advantage
  • * Basic knowledge and understanding of English
  • * Good listening skills and ability to follow instructions
  • * Must be in good health and have no allergies (detergents)
  • * Must be willing to do physical work
  • * Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices
  • * Good knowledge of facility layout
  • * Good knowledge of cleaning products and applications
  • * Must be detail-orientated and task focused
  • * Must be proactive and disciplined

NOTE: The successful candidate will be required to wear a uniform. This person will also be expected to work a 7-day shift roster (Monday-Sunday) including public holidays.
