We have great pleasure in introducing the next round of the Fuchs Foundation Doctoral Scholarships, to be awarded during 2010 for Doctoral Studies to be undertaken during the 2011 Academic Year. Attached please find both the relevant application form, as well as the conditions governing the Doctoral Scholarship scheme, indicating eligibility, fields of study, monetary value, tenure, selection criteria, general conditions and the application process. Please take special note of the closing date for submissions, which is Friday – 15 October 2010.
Although it might appear early to be inviting applications, past experience has taught us that several potential candidates annually indicate that they were simply not aware of the scholarship in good time to submit their applications (most often done during the second semester in the past). Would you please be so kind as to create awareness of the Fuchs Foundation Doctoral Scholarship for your students by advertising the opportunity in whatever printed and/or electronic format might be appropriate at your institution.
